History tells us that it wasn't the Nazis ' end of World War II. Decades after the war, high-ranking Nazis ' records circulated throughout the world. And Al Pacino is leading a group in the new series "Hunters," which aims to take care of this issue.

As seen in the new trailer for the upcoming series of Amazon, "Hunters" tells the story of a man (Pacino) who brought together a group of Nazi hunters in New York City in 1977. Their goal is simple — wipe out the remaining Nazis who have remained in the shadows since the end of the Second World War before the Fourth Reich starts again.

Logan Lerman, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Dylan Baker, and Lena Olin are the stars of the show besides Pacino. The fact that the show is created by Jordan Peele is perhaps more interesting than the fact that "Hunters" marks Pacino's return to the world of Television. And if the last few years are any indication, just about everything that Peele produces turns into something you have to see.

“Hunters” debuts on Amazon Prime Video on February 21.

Here’s the synopsis:

Inspired by true events, HUNTERS follows a diverse band of Nazi Hunters in 1977 New York City who discover that hundreds of escaped Nazis are living in America. And so, they do what any bad-ass vigilante squad would do: they set out on a bloody quest for revenge and justice. But they soon discover a far-reaching conspiracy and must race against time to thwart the Nazis’ new genocidal plans.

The first full trailer for Amazon Prime Video's Hunters is here, showing Al Pacino's Meyer Offerman giving one hell of a pep talk to his Nazi-hunting upstarts.

You can also check out the first teaser trailer just below, showing Pacino's Offerman making vengeful machinations of a mitzvah.

Hunters Cast - Al Pacino co-stars in Hunters as Meyer Offerman, the mastermind of the mysterious Nazi-assailing group, the Hunters. For Pacino – a big screen legend whose awards accolades include one Oscar, five Golden Globes, two Primetime Emmys and even a BAFTA – this project represents a historic moment in his half-century-spanning career, marking his very first regular television role – well, not counting his roles on the 2003 HBO miniseries, Angels in America and TV movies such as Paterno and You Don’t Know Jack.

Logan Lerman (The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Fury) will play the show's co-lead, Jonah Heidelbaum. The character will be thrust into the world of Nazi hunting when his grandmother is killed by a mysterious intruder in their apartment. This tragedy will send Jonah on a quest for vengeance, requiring the Nazi-hunter training of Pacino's character.

Josh Radnor will play Lonny Flash, described as “a movie star who’s secretly a member of Meyer’s (Pacino) organization.” Radnor, the longtime co-star of CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, has since been fielding TV runs on NBC drama Rise and PBS Civil War drama Mercy Street. He was most recently seen in an episode of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy and co-starring in rom-com Social Animals.

Here's the rest of the cast:

Kate Mulvany (Lambs of God, Secret City) as Sister Harriet, one of the members of the Hunters.

James Le Gros (The Passage, Drugstore Cowboy) as Detective Grimbsy, a veteran FBI agent and New York bureau boss to Millie (the previously cast Jerrika Hinton).

Ebony Obsidian (If Beale Street Could Talk, Tough Love) as Carol Hawthorne, “Jonah’s neighbor and romantic interest.”

Caleb Emery (Good Girls, Logan Lucky) as Jonah’s (Logan Lerman) friend, Arthur “Bootyhole” McGuigan.

Henry Hunter Hall (Sela and The Spades, Gridlock’d) as Jonah’s friend, Sherman “Cheeks” Johnson.

Jeannie Berlin (The Night Of, The First) as Jonah’s grandmother.

Jerrika Hinton (Grey's Anatomy) as a female lead, Millie Malone. Millie is an FBI agent marginalized at the Bureau because of her race and gender.

Dylan Baker (The Americans) as Biff Simpson, a politician hiding a dark secret *cough*Nazi!*cough*.

Greg Austin (Class) as Travis Leich, a young man sympathetic to the Nazi cause.

Lena Olin (Chocolat) as an unspecified Nazi. Catherine Tate (Doctor Who) will play a nun.

Saul Rubinek (The Ballad of Buster Scruggs) and Carol Kane (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) will play a Hasidic couple.
