FURIOUS - A female serial murderer is the subject of the criminal drama series FURIOUS on Hulu. We get to know both the FBI agent and the serial killer as we follow them as they pursue her. Lola Petticrew plays a serial killer, while Emmy Rossum plays an FBI agent. Scenes are being stolen by both. I adored it!
I would have binge-watched all eight episodes of the series in one sitting if I weren't a human being in need of sleep. The plot of this incredibly well-made Hulu series captivated me from the first episode. The fact that it's debuting with "just" three episodes is definitely a good thing.
We follow FBI agent Alice Black (Emmy Rossum) as she searches for a female serial killer in the film Furious. Female serial killers frequently pick their victims deliberately, as most people who are familiar with serial killer profiling will know. Not merely randomly or indiscriminately.
This even applied to Aileen Wuornos, after all. even if those who wanted to put her to death wouldn't listen. Long before she began to kill, the system broke her.
In any event, there may be more similarities between FBI agent Alice Black and the enigmatic and cunning female serial killer (Lola Petticrew) in Furious than either of them ever realized. Not to mention being harmed by men who get away with all they do.
When they ought to be incarcerated, they might even receive awards or promotions.
Although it's never a good idea to support a criminal, it gets a little more difficult when her victims are also criminals. the type that never makes amends for their transgressions. or even their transgressions. She intends to make them pay by treating them the same way they treated her.
Or rather, not precisely.
She's not that harsh.
The entire cast must be believable for Furious to succeed. This applies to both heroes and villains. The distinction between the two will also get increasingly hazy as Furious develops and the storyline intensifies, as you have undoubtedly already realized.
Liz Meriwether is the creator and executive producer of Furious. In the past, Elizabeth Meriwether produced the television series New Girl, The Dropout, and Dying for Sex. Yes, she has been working hard for a long time.
She has entered the crime-thriller genre with this most recent production, and I sincerely hope she stays there.
Along with Ronald Bass, Matt Olmstead, and Sam Hoffman, Emmy Rossum, star of the Hulu series, is an executive producer on Composition 8. The first two episodes were directed and executive produced by Brian Kirk. Karena Evans, Destiny Ekaragha, Cory Finley, Colleen McGuinness, and Beatrice Morgan are directors as well.
Furious is one of the best shows I’ve watched in quite some time. And I’m saying that as someone who watches a lot of amazing series from all over the world and on various streaming platforms. Even good ol’ flow TV. Still, few have managed to keep me as engaged and without even one bad episode.
Do not miss out on Furious on Hulu. The crime thriller serial killer series premieres with its first three episodes. For the season finale, you’ll have to wait until August 31, 2026, but you’ll enjoy the ride there.
