In the new trailer for “Anna and the Apocalypse,” you don’t necessarily see what causes the apocalypse; however, it is clear that as the city sleeps, something is going down. This is a film that I would say looks more like “Zombieland” meets “Sing Street” rather than “Shaun of the Dead” meets “La La Land,” but if we’re being honest here, both matchups give me hope that this film will be interesting. The film opens Nov. 30 in select theaters and will expand nationwide December 7, 2018. Here is the official synopsis: A zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven – at Christmas – forcing Anna and her friends to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world, and with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other…
