That's why you want to lie about getting a cat because there's a strict "no pets" policy, or why you would usually ignore the scary neighbors that might make you worry because you're just so excited to sign a lease at last. Well, the latest movie "1BR" suggests you may want to pause and pay attention to it before you sign on the dotted line. As seen in the new trailer for the horror-thriller, “1BR” follows the story of a young woman, Sarah, who is excited about starting her new life in Los Angeles after leaving her painful past behind her. She finds an apartment in what seems to be a great building, where the neighbors are unusually close—but hey, that’s nice, right? Sure, she sneaks her cat in, but what’s the big deal? It’s only a small cat. Well, by the end of the trailer, audiences will see why Sarah should have thought twice about joining this very odd community. The horror film stars Nicole Brydon Bloom, Giles Matthey, Taylor Nichols, Alan Blumenfeld, Celeste Sully, Susan Davis, Clayton Hoff, and Earnestine Phillips. David Marmor is the writer and director of the film, making his feature debut. “1BR” is coming soon to theaters and VOD. Here’s the synopsis: After leaving behind a painful past, Sarah scores the perfect Hollywood apartment only to discover that her surprisingly welcoming neighbors may harbor a dangerous secret.
