Tonight, amid the pandemic, the 2020 edition of MTV 's Video Music Awards is taking place, with a bunch of amazing performances brought to you. Artists are now pre-recording their appearances and it seems as if a lot of people prefer it this way round, so maybe this is a long-term trend we will see in music award shows.
Opening up the show just a few minutes ago tonight was none other than The Weekend which remained busy despite releasing its latest album After Hours in March. Just recently the singer and Calvin Harris put out his 'Done Now' single.
