Yemi Alade co-hosted the 2016 MAMAs while her mother, Helen Uzoma, who sat among the audience at TicketPro Dome in Northgate, Johannesburg, South Africa looked on.
They shared some lovely moments during the awards show.
Mama Yemi was also on stage during her daughter's performance, and when she won the best female act for the second consecutive year.
In her acceptance speech, the singer said, ‘We’re not only good in the kitchen and other room. We’re good at everything.’
