The 2019 Oscar awards which took place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 24, saw the highest honours in Hollywood handed out to a talented group of actors, actresses, filmmakers, and everyone who works behind the scenes to make movies happen.

Roma and The Favourite led with 10 nominations each, both films took home a decent amount of awards during the ceremony.

Green Book won the big prize for the Best Picture in addition to two other awards: Supporting Actor for Mahershala Ali, and Original Screenplay.

The awards saw the first ceremony in 30 years without a host.
