Things did not go as planned for Nigerian A-list star Seyi Shay, one of the performers at the 2017 AFRIMA show, when she fell down while performing.

Seyi Shay was serenading the audience with performances of her hit songs and belting out the lyrics of ‘Yolo Yolo’ when the incident occurred.

Without missing a beat, the veteran performer moved fluidly into a dance move and muttered ‘The devil is a liar’.  She impressed the crowd with her ingenious crisis management, not getting flustered as she closed out her performance to rapturous applause.
