YOU ARE A LEADER

Today was kind of off schedule for me, as I was suppose to go to site but was omitted on two occasions, though a part of me felt happy because I wouldn't be so stressed, the other side felt dejected and unhappy because I would miss what I'm supposed to learn and also miss something to fill in my log book

I felt so bored, feeling sleepy and all manners of idle gestures kept romancing me,  I was about falling asleep when my Ogas in the office started a discussion, a discussion which at first  seem boring and uninteresting, then at a point I got so fascinated with the topic.

They were talking about their past Ogas and how they've helped them attain success in their place of work (when I say success, I mean attainment of success in the right way), they talked about how their pass bosses placed the welfarism of the staffs above their own personal life, how they helped them financially, academically, professionally, etc.

They also tend to balance the equation by comparing them with the kind of leaders we have now, leaders that do not care about the well being of others, leaders that will place themselves first above their subordinate, leaders who with 5loaves collect from someone with 1loaf just to make theirs 6.
What a generation we are, leader enmeshed with hatred rather than love, with selfishness rather than selflessness.

Listening to their testimonies about those people, I felt a sudden love for them, (the past bosses) I felt an empathy in the feelings of the narrators as word runs down their epiglottis, I knew if there's a way for them to bring back the old days they'll exchange their 1year salaries for it, I could feel the sympathy and feeling of rage in their words.
Every letters of every words were so clear to pass a hidden messages in the characters, I felt sorry for them for the lost time

there are many leaders today, but only a few have earned the right to call themselves leader, we have encountered such people in our various lives, we most time make bad comments about them but have we really examined our lives? if we have such seeds in our lives, whether we like it or not we are also leaders in a place (family, academics, religious and political settings), we are the way we are as a result of decisions made by a person, we are what we listen to and see, we are what we read, we are who we follow, and we are what we think.

it's time we start reframing our minds towards making our lives being a reflection of goodness and happiness for others to see, we need to rebuild our lives in such a way that it affect others positively, making them dream more, we are what people read.

I'll leave you with the words of John Quincy Adams : If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.
