Itohan finally agreed to Madam Imade’s request as she could no longer bear the ill treatment given to her.
Itohan’s mum saw the news on TV where several illegal migrants who were going to Europe through the Mediterranean Sea lost their lives. She immediately began crying and praying that her daughter was safe.
Itohan on one occasion refused to go out with other girls for prostitution as she thought she had made enough money for Madam Imade but she was rebuked and told that in prostitution there was No leave No Sabbatical, every day was work.
Also, Itohan requested to call her parents and Madam Imade granted her wish; she spoke to her mum and assured her that she was doing well and everything was OK.
