We cry out, looking outside the window,
If we would find anything,
All we find is emptiness in our soul,
The void that seems no one can fill,
We then turn to people for our happiness,
Thinking they can make things right,
We become happy for a while,
Thinking that’s all needed,
Unpleasant things happen,
They leave,
We become disappointed,
Frustration and loneliness sets in,
Nothing seems right anymore,
We feel the emptiness again,
You shouldn’t depend on anyone for your happiness.
A voice said “people don’t stay forever,
They leave immediately they get what they want.
You are all you need to be happy,
You have nature to explore,
You have your life to explore,
Why then should you depend on other people for your happiness???
