Recall that, Osun State Youth Empowerment Scheme (OYES) was launched by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on the 31st of July 2013, the purpose of this scheme is to empower youth throughout the State. The Commissioner for Youth and Sport, Mr Yemi Lawal, while speaking in an interview said that, the Government of Osun has made provision for any interested OYES cadet that wish to engaged as ad hoc staff to be granted a concession for good six months. However, the concession would stand as a space filler, pending the time the a new batch recruitment is done, recall that the current OYES Cadet was engaged on the 21st of September, 2018, he added. "The Government recognizes that some of the OYES Cadet may not have prepared for the transition, due to this reason, we have created an opportunity for some of them to be re-engaged for six months as ad hoc staff, pending the time the new batch recruitment will commence".
