Nigerians, via social media, expressed disappointment with the producers of the movie for creating the misconception about featuring Ninalowo in their movie. Following the drama online, Bolanle Ninalowo took to his verified Instagram page to apologize to his fans over the controversy that trailed his absence. He made it clear that he was featured in the mockumentary inspired by Extraction 2, which is titled ‘Distraction; The Extraction of Don’. He wrote, “I AM SORRY YOU GUYS WERE DISTRACTED. You know I you!!! Now lets see The Extraction of Don!!! A Netflix mockumentary inspired by Extraction 2.″ The mockumentary film, which has been inspired by Extraction 2, is titled Distraction: The Extraction of Don, which sees a team of dangerous mercenaries kidnapping creative director Donovon Goliath in an attempt to extract his Netflix password.
