NAFDAC on Saturday unlocks Emzor pharmaceuticals and two different organizations who were shut on May 7 over unapproved generation of codeine syrups. The other two organizations engaged with the codeine adventure are Peace Standard Pharmaceutical Limited and Bioraj Pharmaceutical Limited in Ilorin, Kwara .
As per an announcement from the organization, the Director-General, NAFDAC, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye gave the mandate following gatherings held with the organizations and its directorates of Investigation and Enforcement (I&E), Drug Evaluation Research (DER) and Narcotics and Controlled Substances (NCS).
As indicated by NAFDAC, the creation of codeine syrup is to be halted promptly until the point that further notice while examinations proceed.
