The "Mobile Telephone Networks (MTN) announced from 21st of October 2019, there will be charges for USSD access to banking.

MTN made this know to all the users by sending a SMS. They disclosed that the charges for the USSD access to banking cost N4 per seconds.

According to a Twitter user reactions @That_ijebubadoo, He composed;

If you got this message from MTN, relax. USSD charge is not new in Nigeria, it wasn't introduced by MTN, other networks have been charging in line with the NCC USSD Price determination guidelines. Convenience comes at a cost.
