A fearless three-year-old boy was filmed by his family in Vietnam as he rode on a 20-foot python in floodwaters.

The video, which has since gone viral, shows the boy, Truong, laughing while sitting on the giant serpent and having a ride. The boy’s aunt, Nu Nguyen, refuted claims that the footage is fake, revealing to Daily Mail that the family have had the python for four years as a pet.

She said: “The python is 80kg…and very gentle. It was a rainy day and the water flooded to the edge of the yard. So they put the python in there to play and relax.”
