Bannon was cited in another book depicting a gathering between Trump's child and a gathering of Russians as "treasonous," and the President has repudiated the claim. The Russians had offered Donald Trump Jr harming data on Hillary Clinton at the June 2016 gathering, reports BBC. Bannon's statement shows up in another book by columnist Michael Wolff. "Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my administration. When he was let go, he not just lost his activity, he lost his psyche," Mr Trump said in an announcement on Wednesday. "Steve was a staff member who worked for me after I had effectively won the designation by overcoming seventeen applicants, frequently depicted as the most skilled field at any point amassed in the Republican party," he proceeded. "Since he is without anyone else, Steve is discovering that triumphant isn't as simple as I influence it to look. Steve had almost no to do with our memorable triumph, which was conveyed by the overlooked men and ladies of this nation." Bannon, the president's previous boss strategist, was viewed as a key player in the Trump White House and helped shape Mr Trump's "America First" battle message before he exited his post in August. He came back to his part as the leader of the conservative Breitbart News site, where he said he intended to help Trump's organization as a "wingman outside".
