No less than 11 individuals were executed in a blast in a bustling business sector in a little Somali city north of Mogadishu, a security authority and witnesses said.
"Eleven individuals were affirmed dead and in excess of 10 others were injured in the impact which we are as yet examining, a portion of the casualties have genuine injuries and they are conceded at clinic," Mohamed Abdikarim, a local security official, told AFP.
Sources reached by AFP did not yet know whether the impact was caused by a suicide aircraft or a touchy gadget. The impact happened at the commercial center in Wanlaweyn locale around 70 kilometers (around 45 miles) north of the Somali capital where Khat (opiate leaves) is sold.
"There was bedlam at the market, various individuals kicked the bucket and others injured, I saw the separated dead collections of regular citizens yet there were additionally security work force associated with the loss," Mohamed Dahir, a witness said.
Wanlaweyn locale is near the Balidogle airbase where the US unique powers have a noteworthy base.
