Mitrovic, who had been booked in his two previous Premier League outings, was shown a straight red card for a wild stamp on Francis Coquelin after just 16 minutes of play. Coloccini then decided the game in Arsenal’s favour when he deflected home a strike from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain seven minutes into the second half.
