During an interview on Channels Television on Tuesday, Banky W made this assertion, stating that the NYSC program hasn't achieved everything it was intended for. “I don't know if anyone will argue that NYSC probably does not accomplish everything it was intended for today; therefore, how do we reform it?” Don't cancel it; instead, make it optional and remove it from the constitution; those who don't need it will leave. “Instead of paying them N30,000 per month, which does nothing for a young person in Nigeria today, you can now pay those who are interested more. He stated, "We can pay them N60,000 to N80,000."
