But it was an event that he wouldn't quickly forget. He was almost mobbed on stage at the concert venue of the Kwara Hotel as a fan jumped over asking for a bear hug. Video of the scene shows the rough-handled hip-hop star trying to get rid of himself. His fans were shocked on twitter, furious he was not regarded as a worthy star and poorly organized the concert. Some people even wrote that Wizkid was never meant to go to town. Another posted video shows Wizkid seated on the backstage of a plastic chair. He was seen yawning in the video, looking flustered about everything.
With some of his hit songs, the singer was on hand to entertain his fans and they sang along. An excited fan climbed the stage to hug his hero, and before bodyguards were able to throw him away, Wizkid was heard saying ‘file, je ko hug mi, ofe ni hug’ meaning 'leave him, let him hug me, a hug is free.' ![]() Sigh! Sigh. After that moment, things went south. Most fans seemed to take a cue from Wizkid's comment to also hop on the stage to give their own hug to the one and only Star Boy. The bodyguards burst into action and began throwing people off the stage like rice bags and adding pieces of slaps to spice things up. Then sometime during the series, Wizkid was seen sitting on a plastic chair, clearly tired, perhaps as the night progressed. The singer also shared an incredible night picture of his Nike shoes in a very sorry state. https://www.instagram.com/p/B6drxNjJbUA/ ![]()
