However, Metro claims that it is not at all deep. A few weeks back, Drizzy called out Metro Boomin and other "tweets and deleters" on his year-end livestream. Many believed it to be a jab at Metro, who had removed and tweeted a critical opinion regarding Drake and 21 Savage's collaborative album, Her Loss. “Look at my eyes—you guys want to do something? That’s what I thought,” Drizzy continued. Later that day (Dec. 18), Metro reacted to Drake on X (previously known as Twitter) by sharing the video titled "Whoa, Calm Down Jamal, Don't Pull Out the 9." The video is a satire about black individuals on a basketball court dealing with racist white people (played by black people). But in a response to a fan on Saturday night (Dec. 30), the Grammy-winning producer says that his beef with the Toronto superstar isn’t that deep at all. “are u and Drake seriously beefing or is it not that deep,” the fan asked to which Metro replied, “not deep at all.” We’re surely glad to know that, and we hope that we get to hear new music from the two next year.
