Oyiga Micheal claimed that five plastic bottles are used by Merit International students to pay for tuition, and he requested financial aid on their behalf. He claims that due to their parents' lack of financial resources, the students are required to bring five plastic bottles to school each day for recycling purposes. Oyiga appealed to well-meaning individuals to provide books, writing supplies, socks, and other essential school supplies as assistance. He shared photos of the school kids and wrote; “I know we are busy with elections and all, but alright I’ll need your attention. I Visited this school at Ajegunle Yesterday Morit International, where the students Pay their Fees with Plastic bottles. The students are tasked to bring 5 bottles a day to cover for school fees. The Initiative is amazing as most parents in the area can’t afford to send their kids to school but with this means, they can send all their kids to school for basic primary education. Therefore in a means to assist this parents and take the pressure a little from them, if you can help with Books, Pens, Bags and socks.. Please reach out.. Or if you can get them, I’ll come pick them up and hand them over. Or you can go to the school to drop them yourself. Make we Help out, takes an entire Village to raise a kid. Believe we can do something. If you know organizations that can help also, buzz me.. Even if you no fit help, help me Retweet. Let’s do this. Text books.. Pencil.. Note Books.. Biro pen.. Colouring books.. Drawing paper.. Any educational material that can help at least one kid.”
