Angie took to her social media to reveal the news to her fans. As a result of the incident, she suffered from a fractured lumbar and a shattered vertebrae. "I always believed in angels, and the other morning, mine was with me. I was in a severe car accident and had my lumbar fractured and my vertebra shattered," she wrote. Quote pic.twitter.com/amivmQ4Ku2However, the legendary “Voice of New York” went on to say that she was in good spirits and is grateful that she has the opportunity to recover from the injuries. “I am in best spirits possible and determined to be back and better than ever soon! God bless and I deeply appreciate all love and prayers.” We wish her a very speedy recovery. Angie Martinez brings her years of experience to WE TV’s new series “Untold Stories of Hip Hop” where she interviews stars such as Snoop Dogg, Cardi B, Ice Cube, A$AP Rocky, DJ Khaled, Fat Joe and Queen Latifah. It airs Thursdays at 10 pm on WE TV.
