Posted by: Miss Ifeoluwa« on: March 25, 2020, 09:03:08 AM »The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has disclosed that about 149 candidates were caught for various examination malpractices in the just concluded 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examination. The candidates and the states they took their exams were published by JAMB. Imo, Anambra and Enugu States lead the list with 26, 12 and 12 candidates respectively. Other states on the list are Abia, Adamawa, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Kwara, Ondo, Oyo, and Osun. It was gathered that the candidates were found to have involved in various for of malpractice like; examination by proxy, attempt to cheat, forceful entrance, tampering with examination documents, smuggling of mobile phones into the examination halls among others. The board, however, stated that the issue of malpractice seems to be declining with the 2020 experience.
