DAILY POST had reported that unknown gunmen, in the early hours of Thursday, hijacked a school bus belonging to Chimola School and whisked away the only person on board. Few hours after the abduction, the victim appeared in Akure saying she was taken to an unknown destination but was able to find her way out. Speaking after the incident, Ojo said the gunmen threatened to harm her if she did not cooperate with them. According to her, she was released after obeying all their instructions.
