The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board states that only expected candidates with the National Identity Number will be enrolled from the 2020 test.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board said it would no longer register candidates for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination who do not have the National Identity Number.

It warns that only intended candidates with the NIN will be registered, starting with the 2020 exam.

The National Identification Number (NIN) is required for all candidates wishing to take the 2020 UTME. Prospective candidates are encouraged to visit their capture at the nearest @nimc ng office.

The Board would ONLY register candidates with NIN.

The Board also warns against unathorised finacial transanctions with its staff.

It warns:

“Please be informed that the Board frowns on any form of financial dealings between candidates and staff.

“All payments on JAMB Services are made directly to the Board’s TSA.

“Therefore, candidates involved in any financial transaction with a staff of the Board should notify the Board immediately and also provide any useful information about such staff for necessary action.”
