As police officers in Oyo State opened fire on peaceful # ENDSARS protester in the state, one person reportedly was shot dead.

When the incident occurred, the protester were gathering in Ogbomosho to join the demand for the scrapping of the police's Special Anti-Robbery Squad unit.

Stiff resistance from the police was faced by the protester, who fired at them in an effort to disperse them.

According to unconfirmed reports, two protester were struck by bullets.

Despite the protester being civilians, police officers who fired live bullets at them in places like Delta and Abuja were met with force.

With the United Kingdom urging the Nigerian Government to ensure transparency within the police, the # ENDSARS protest has attracted international attention.

On the place, a student has died while another is fighting to stay alive.

Amnesty International recorded over 82 cases of SARS brutality from 2017 to 2020.
