Terrorists Kill Three, Abduct Pastor and Worshippers in Kwara Church Attack

Panic gripped Eruku town in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State on Tuesday evening after t+rrorists stormed a branch of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), k+lling three worshippers and abd¥cting several others, including the pastor.

Sources told SaharaReporters that the att+ckers invaded the church during a meeting and opened f+re immediately, forcing worshippers to flee in t+rror. Three members were sh%t d+ad on the spot before the g¥nmen rounded up an unspecified number of people at g¥npoint.

“The g¥nmen came in suddenly and started shooting. Three people were k+lled instantly,” a source said. “They gathered others and marched them into the bush. We still don’t know the exact number taken.”

The assailants reportedly escaped through bush paths linking Eruku to neighbouring communities, leaving residents in fear and disarray.

Earlier reports indicated that heavily armed t+rrorists had entered the town through one of its major routes, firing sporadically and causing travellers and residents to run into the bush for safety. Vehicles were abandoned on the road as sustained g¥nfire echoed across the community.

A traveller who narrowly escaped recorded a frantic video while hiding, pleading for security intervention. “This is 18-11-2025… they started sh++ting. Everybody has scattered into the bush,” he said. “Please, come to our rescue. People have abandoned their vehicles. The community is in chaos.”

T+rrorists were said to have moved through communities in the area without resistance, wreaking havoc.

As of press time, neither the Kwara State Police Command nor the state government has issued an official statement on the att+cks.
