Just In: Pregnant Woman, Children and several others Abducted as Bandits attack Kwara community Again

Tension gripped Isapa community in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State on Monday evening after terrorists launched a violent attack, abducting a pregnant woman, several children, two nursing mothers, and others,

Isapa is located close to Eruku, another community that recently suffered a similar violent raid.

According to SaharaReporters, the att+ck occurred around 6pm on November 24, 2025, when between 20 and 30 armed b@ndits stormed the area, moving with a large herd of cattle while shooting indiscriminately. An elderly woman was struck by a stray bullet during the invasion.

A community leader confirmed that 11 people were taken, including seven members of the same family. Those abd¥cted include a pregnant woman, two nursing mothers, and several minors.

The victims have been identified as:
Talatu Kabiru, Magaji, Kande, Hadiza, Mariam, Saima, Habibat (housewife), Fatima Yusufu (housewife), Sarah Sunday (pregnant woman), Lami Fidelis (nursing mother), and Haja Na Allah.

Residents said the att+ckers moved through different parts of the town, leaving b¥llet holes in walls and doors. Spent AK-47 shells were found across the community after the g+nmen retreated.

SaharaReporters also previously reported a d+adly incident in nearby Eruku, where terr+rists att+cked a branch of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), k+lling three worshippers and abd¥cting several others, including the pastor.

Witnesses said the att+ckers stormed the church during a meeting and opened fire immediately.
“One minute they walked in, the next minute they were sh%%ting. Three people were k+lled on the spot,” a source told SaharaReporters. “They forced others out at g+npoint and marched them into the bush. We don’t yet know how many were taken.”

The g+nmen reportedly escaped through bush paths linking Eruku to surrounding communities, leaving residents terrified and uncertain about their safety.
