It was learned that the vehicle driver who knocked the lady to death was apprehended as soon as possible. On the Garman bridge in Okirigwe Community, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, an over-speeding vehicle knocked to death an identified girl.

The deceased died on arrival at the Central Hospital in Sapele, DAILY POST can report. It was learnt that the driver of the vehicle which knocked the lady to death was promptly apprehended and handed over to the Police for possible prosecution.

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya did not select calls or respond to text messages sent to her mobile phone line when they were contacted for comments.
