According to available information, the raid was carried out on Saturday. Officers and men of the Lagos State Police Command, members of the Oodua People’s Congress and local vigilante groups have raided the hideouts of notorious cultist group, Badoo, arresting over 100 suspected members. It will be recalled that the Police and members of the OPC and vigilante groups in Ikorodu, a suburb of Lagos, met last week over the troubling issue of the Badoo group. It was gathered that the arrest on Saturday followed the outcome of the meeting, which had in attendance the National Coordinator of the OPC, Otunba Gani Adams.
