Two individuals have died after going to a River to swim.
 
The tragedy it was gathered happened at Iyi Umuopara Egbelu in Abia state.
 
A Nigerian Facebook user, Egobiz Edwin shared the tragic news on the app and wrote:
 
What a Black and Red Wednesday in my village,, as two granddaughters of one family lost their life in our river today.... May their Soul rest in peace..Amen

The tragic loss has left the family of the affected victims traumatized.
