Her grandma saved her life when she heard the child sobbing within the bag the abductor had packed her in. The incident happened in Akure near Maronu Market on Araromi. While attempting to save the girl, the abductor injured the grandmother. The young man was prevented from being lynched by the Amotekun, also known as the Ondo State Security Network.
