General Diya’s residence located at no 31, Adekunle Fajuyi Way, Ikeja GRA, Lagos. was yesterday gutted by fire. The cause of the fire has not been disclosed but residence and fire fighters battled o put the fire that started yesterday evening out for hours till they got victory around 7pm last night.
A thick smoke was first seen bellowing from the residence being guarded by military men before alarm was raised and other neighbours also came to their rescue. General Diya was not at home when the incident happened.
