Ms Samuel, a 200-level student, was killed on Thursday, for alleged blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad. The Christian student, it was gathered, described a religious message about the prophet posted on a WhatsApp group operated by her class as ‘nonsense’, adding that the group was created for academic purposes only. Yesufu tweeted on Thursday that those who lynch thieves are not any different from Samuel’s killers. She said, “If you are one of those that lynch thieves just take this moment to know that you and those Sokoto students who killed their fellow student are the same. “Hope you use this as a mirror into your despicable acts. No one has the right in anyway whatsoever to kill another. No one!” Meanwhile, the police said they have arrested two persons in connection with the incident. More arrests are expected as the school remains shut.
