A​ fire outbreak​ early ​Thursday ​morning ​in​ Surulere area of Lagos State has claimed the lives of a mother and her three children​.​

​T​he fire which burnt shops and other properties in the area occurred at Dipo Olubi Street, Aguda, Surulere​.​
Director, Lagos State Fire Service, Rasak Fadipe ​has ​confirmed the tragedy​.

He said the mother and her three children were burnt to death in the inferno ​and promised to ​give more​ details on the disaster​ later in the day.​
