The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, said in a statement Tuesday that the leader of the group, ‘Abubakar Shekau’ was seriously wounded on the shoulders during the raid. Usman listed the killed Boko Haram leaders to include Abubakar Mubi, Malam Nuhu and Malam Hamman. Quote He said that fighter pilots of the NAF carried out the raid on August 19,2016 when the insurgents were performing Friday rituals at Taye village, Gombale general area within Sambisa forest, Borno State.
