At least, Over 10 (ten) individuals have been reportedly dead with many others seriously burned after a filling station exploded in Lafia, Nasarawa state.

It's was reported that the incident happens when the station operators were refilling their cylinder. According to "Etz Joel", he stated via Facebook

"A Sad Monday Morning In Lafia City as Nelson Patrol and Cooking Gas Station at Jos Road Explored.. Many Cars Burned, Human Beings Been Burned to Death , Many Injuries Involved. Many Lost Their Beloved One to the land of No Return."
