He noted that the film will be screened at PVR, Inox and Cinepolis theatres for a week starting today. Mask, Distance, Action! Action. Catch the re-release of #KGFChapter1 in theaters near you between October 23rd-29th (sic),' Ritesh tweeted. Since October 15, theaters around the country have been able to re-open. The theatres will, however, only run at 50% of their actual seating capacity. At present, filmmakers seem to be in no hurry to release new movies in theatres as the consumer sentiment is still low owing to COVID-19. In order to revive the confidence and interest among the public, theatres have been playing old, successful movies. When it first appeared in 2018, KGF became a huge hit across the nation. The production of the second part was also resumed after a delay owing to the lockdown of COVID-19. After the makers roped in Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt to play the principal antagonist Adheera, the sequel has already ramped up expectations. In the lead role, the two-part crime drama stars Yash.
