Inspired from real events and fictionalized for creative prospect, Ekram is based on a life of a common Muslim youngster who was arrested by Anti Terrorism unit while he was sneaking out to meet his girlfriend. The arrest was an easy way out for the Unit to complete the task by framing a man of the infamous community.

Ekram is a film about a young guy who was arrested by Anti terrorism squad on suspicion and later he spends 10 years in jail for a crime he didnt commit. The story is about the affect wrong accusation of terrosrism charges that he and his family faces throughout his life,even after he is acquitted.
